When should I use Copy Plan?
Copy Plan should be used after creating a wellness plan and a mistake has been discovered. The typical example is when an optional service has been added and it needs to be removed.
The first step when re-creating a plan due to a mistake is to Cancel the plan. Next choose Copy Plan, select the appropriate plan, optional services and then Print and Complete. As normal, the system will post first Payment and it must be collected by the practice.
When Copy Plan is used within seven (7) days of cancelling a wellness plan, the system will not assess an origination fee to the plan created in error (which was cancelled).
Caution: when a plan is cancelled, services rendered and consumed will still be paid to the appropriate parties (Incentive/Production Pay).
