Why is a plan "ongoing" & “expired” at the same time?
Plans have two status: plan-status and billing-status
The billing status is the state of the account. Typically: Ongoing, Paid-off or Suspended.
Typical plan status include: Active, Expired, Cancelled etc.
If a plan is Expired it cannot be renewed however there may still exist a plan contract balance. Therefore the account continues to bill - the account status is Ongoing.
NOTE: Always review Next Payment Date; auto-pay will not commence if the Next Payment Date is in the past
